Dynaxys LLC Establishes Green Team

Silver Spring, Maryland, December 7, 2009 - For many years Dynaxys LLC has realized the importance of helping the environment through recycling and Earth Day projects. Now Dynaxys is taking its commitment a step further by establishing a Green Team whose purpose is to evaluate Dynaxys' working habits and identify where they can be modified.

"When we first started working to make the office environmentally friendly, we thought that there was little an office our size could do, but the more we learned the more we thought of ways to combat the environmental impact our company has," said Green Team Leader Cathy Silva. "The cost of going completely green is so high for small company; however by doing a little bit each year we are still making a difference without suffering from the high cost."

This year alone Dynaxys has installed cisterns to collect the rain water which in turn is recycled for watering the landscape; replaced our florescent lights with energy efficient lights; planted more landscaping to help save energy used for heating and cooling; and installed timers in the restrooms to turn off lights when not in use. Now the Green Team is working to identify environmentally friendly cleaning agents and toilet paper.

"People want to work for a company that has strong principles - a clear demonstration of respect for them and the world we all live in," stated Lisa Miller, President of Dynaxys. "Too, clients recognize that the attitudes of the company are reflected in our work. It's the attention to the little things that matter. In the end they all add up; it turns out they are not so little."
