Dynaxys LLC Takes Employee Wellness Seriously

Silver Spring, Maryland, December 7, 2009 - The health of our workforce is inextricably linked to the success of our business. At Dynaxys we continually work to establish a culture of health in which wellness really becomes just a part of doing everyday business.

"At Dynaxys, we believe in living our values. We try to reach 'above and beyond' the expected -- for our company, coworkers, clients and community," stated Lisa Miller, President of Dynaxys. "Our concerns about staff and family wellness and attention to green initiatives underscore this point and send an important message."

For many years Dynaxys has offered a wide variety of initiatives to encourage wellness. Each year we sponsor a Health Fair that focuses on all the little things employees can do to improve their health. Enhanced with prizes awarded to attendees provided by the company and our vendors, the event is a highly anticipated and well attended initiative.

This year we added healthy cooking, regular "lunch and learn seminars" on topical issues and CPR to our initiatives and plan to do more events throughout the year. We also offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as part of its benefits package, annual flu shots, quiet time space for reading and reflecting, and a nursing room.

As there has been more of a concern about the flu than ever before, this year we focused on hand washing and health in the workplace initiatives to focus staff attention on avoiding illness.

"I've really enjoyed the wellness initiative related events at Dynaxys," said Marketing Assistant and events attendee Martin Gruss. "The lunchtime seminars on issues like Stress, Healthy Sleep and Health cooking were all topical, informative and beneficial to me on a personal level and I can see how they also help the company as a whole."
