Dynaxys Wins Maryland's Consulting and Technical Services (CATS) II Contract

Silver Spring, Maryland, November 17, 2009 - In June 2009, Maryland's Department of Information Technology (IT) awarded Dynaxys the CATS II Master Contract. Dynaxys, a leading technology and financial services company, qualified for awards in six functional areas: Web and Internet Systems, Software Engineering, Information System Security, Application Service Provider, IT Management Consulting Services and Business Process Consulting Services.

The CATS II Master Contract enables Maryland to procure IT consulting and technical services in a timely and economical manner. Through CATS II, Maryland has a flexible means of obtaining IT resources quickly, efficiently and cost effectively by issuing task orders specific to its needs. The CATS II contract may be used by any Maryland Agency with an IT requirement.

As of November the first CATS contract has awarded over $268 million in task orders.
