XML Processing Technologies
Dynaxys professionals use Extensible Markup Language (XML) tools and technologies extensively with reporting and database tools. We are experienced in transforming XML documents using Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) style sheets, rendering XML documents in formats such as Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), PDF and Excel and developing Java applications to process XML documents. We build our solutions on open-source technologies plus leading commercial products, including the Fujitsu® XWand XBRL processor and Oracle® 10g relational and XML databases.More specifically we can:
- Develop XML based reporting application using Java API for XML Processing (JAXP) for XML parsing and XSLT Transformations.
- Leverage JAXP technologies to create a custom XML to Java processor used to read XML report definition files.
- Generate HTML and PDF reports using standardized XSL and XSL-FO templates.
- Convert Microsoft Word based invoice layouts to automated PDF invoice generator templates using XSLT and XSL-FO
- Utilize Java Architecture for XML Binding (JAXB) for processing and creating XML configuration files within an XML processing application.
- Work with StAX streaming binary-XML technologies to reduce memory and disk footprint required for large XML files.
- Develop modules to store and retrieve XML data in Oracle and DB2 XML databases using JDBC and XQuery technologies.
- Utilize JAXP technologies to convert XML into Fixed format and delimited text files.
- Work with Streaming Transformations for XML (STX) to perform Simple API for XML (SAX) based Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) transformations of very large XML documents.
