Development

Our 25 years of software development experience give us a breadth of knowledge that benefits our clients. We successfully build and deploy applications for different types of businesses in multiple operating system environments:
  • Web-based systems developed using the J2EE architecture run in Linux and Solaris environments.
  • Java applications run in Windows environments.
  • Legacy systems, modernized with Java-based GUI interfaces, run in C/Unix/Oracle environments.

We develop new applications as well as modernize existing legacy software. On recent projects, we have worked with a variety of clients to:

  • Design and deploy of a new user interface for a 20-year-old legacy accounting and loan management system.
  • Write custom middleware applications to enable new user interfaces to communicate with legacy server software.
  • Implement interfaces to multiple external accounting and financial systems.
  • Analyze data feeds using complex algorithms and perform subsequent accounting and financial transactions.
  • Create multiple interfaces for single systems to support multiple user groups, levels of access, and data availability.
  • Develop XBRL-based applications for data and application integration using XBRL GL and financial reporting using XBRL FR.

Our engineers bring their extensive open-source project experience to creating and integrating software tools.

  • Our applications include browser-based software built using the J2EE multi-tier application architecture and Java GUIs developed using the Java/Swing GUI Framework for multiple document interfaces.
  • Our legacy systems employ a Java GUI client-server user interface, custom middleware, and a legacy server-side C language application.

Dynaxys engineers create reusable project components that allow us to develop more powerful applications more quickly. In addition, by utilizing Java’s wide range of open-source libraries, Dynaxys can deliver applications that are less complex and require lower licensing fees. At the same time, the applications have more functionality, are more reliable and secure and they last longer. Open source promotes software reliability and quality by supporting independent peer review and rapid evolution of source code.
